Each year, PABJ awards two exceptional future journalists with $1000
scholarships. The program is open to African-American high school
students throughout the Delaware Valley, as well as African-American
college students who reside in or attend classes in the Delaware
Valley. Applicants must be pursuing degrees in journalism or
communications (broadcast, radio, print, new media).
A scholarship application is attached. Please distribute to potential
candidates. Applications are also available at pabj.org. Scholarship
winners will be recognized at the Banquet of Honors Scholarship and
Awards Ceremony in Philadelphia.
