Opportunities at the Wall Street Journal (1 Job, 1 Internship)

I am passing on two new opportunities, which are open to external candidates. These would suit recent graduates who want to be journalists, and who have evidence of journalistic aptitude and published work.

1)Smart Money is looking for an intern, to start in December. This would be for three to six months. Pay varies depending on experience. Interested parties should contact missy.sullivan@dowjones.com.

2)Sunday Journal is looking for a news assistant. This job is about 80 per cent reporting (mostly personal finance) and 20 per cent admin. Sunday Journal consists of 2 to 4 pages produced every week by editors and writers of the Journal and other Dow Jones publications, including MarketWatch, Smart Money and Barron's. It appears in more than 65 newspapers around the world, reaching nearly 8 million homes every Sunday. Applicants should contact David Crook, the editor of Sunday Journal, at David.Crook@wsj.com.
