INTERN AT NYCTV
Do you have a passion for fashion, celebrity and culture? Do you also have a knack for cue sheets, digitizing and research? If so, you might be the perfect intern at NYCTV. We are looking for a production intern to work with an entertainment host and producer at the station. Duties include assisting at shoots, news gathering, script writing and editing. A majority of the internship will include research and follow-up, so applicants should expect to spend a sizable amount of time at the office. Applicants should be detail oriented and self motivated. They should also be great writers and familiar with Final Cut Pro. Production assistant experience encouraged, but not necessary. Past interns have been able to interview celebrities, attend happening functions in the city and receive other awesome incentives. Join the excitement and apply!

1. Consulting: Ogilvy Consultants dig deep to discover customer needs and buying behavior. They develop strategies to inspire customers to connect with the brand, and to engage and transact at continually higher rates.
2. Planning: Planners act as the voice of the consumer within the agency. They provide the strategy that is meant to inspire creative work and achieve client objectives.
3. Program Management (Account Management): Program management teams act as the liaison between the client and the internal Ogilvy team. They ensure that work is done on time and on budget with the client’s best interest always top of mind.
4. Production: Production is where the creative ideas and concepts are brought to life.
Producers are the translators, the liaison, the troubleshooters and the glue in the process.
They have a unique ability to partner with all skill sets to allow a vision to be realized while always stretching the budgets, overseeing the checks and balances.

WEIU will give 15 qualified upper-class students a full-time, hands-on internship to create television news for our 5:30pm weeknight news broadcast.
